England invited to tour Australia & NZ in 2012
England could be set to play the likes of Benji Marshall, Jarryd Hayne and Michael Jennings in a Pacific Island team during 2012 reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
Australian and New Zealand officials have invited England to tour during next season since there will be no Four Nations taking place for the International side.
Playing a strong Pacific Island side will be a big test for England as they prepare for the Rugby League World Cup in 2013.
Meanwhile the England verses Overseas All Stars game, which will replace the annual England vs France game, is likely to be played on the 10th June at Leeds Rhinos Headingley Stadium.
SKY Sports appeared to begin advertising the game over this weekend’s televised games with a simple “They’re coming” wording on the big screen.
