Catalan sign Fisher

Catalan Dragons have signed Ben Fisher on a two month deal.

Catalan Dragons head coach Trent Robinson has brought in Fish for cover having recently lost Frédéric Vaccari, Cyril Stacul and Greg Mounis to injury along with Eloi Pelissier. Fisher had signed for Batley and is likely to return to the club after his spell in France.

Fisher, 30, will arrive in Perpignan this Sunday to begin training.

Trent Robinson said, “After the injuries of Eloi Pelissier and Greg Mounis, we felt as we need an experienced hooker to partner Ian Henderson over the next two months. I value Ben ethic as a player and as a person and know he will sitting quickly to our system. A big thanks to Batley where John and Paul were understanding and very helpful in the process.”
