Farrell to face RFL Disciplinary Committee

Wigan Warriors forward Liam Farrell will face the RFL Disciplinary Committee tomorrow (Tuesday) after being charged with committing a Grade B offence during Wigan’s 20-16 Stobart Super League defeat by Huddersfield Giants on Sunday.

Farrell has been charged with a dangerous contact offence for effecting a tackle with an unacceptable risk of injury on Huddersfield’s Leroy Cudjoe in the 40^th minute.

Farrell was charged after the incident was viewed by the RFL’s Match Review Panel earlier today.

The Match Review Panel also issued formal cautions to the following Stobart Super League player:
Jamie Langley (Bradford Bulls) – tripping Scott Dureau of Catalan Dragons in the 10^th minute.
